Love Yourself First

Hey there, lovely readers! February is rolling in, and you know what that means—it’s the month of love. But, before we dive into the world of love, let’s talk about the most important kind: self-love.

Self-love rituals : The Goddess Ritual

Trust me, I get it. The lack of self-confidence can hit hard. Ever feel like you’re not worth much or that you can’t conquer anything? Been there, done that. But let’s take a step back and acknowledge all the incredible things you’ve achieved, the bold decisions you’ve made, and the positive impact you’ve had on others. You are worth so much more than you give yourself credit for.

Now, let me spill a little secret that I often forget but works wonders—it’s called the Goddess Ritual. Do this every morning:

  1. List things that make you proud: generosity, open-mindedness, creativity—whatever floats your boat. Your achievements, your business, your family, that dream trip you took, and even the things you love about yourself.
  2. Define yourself in a word or a bunch of words. For example, in my case, I’m a good witch, vibing with the spirit of Nature. Turn it into a sentence like “I am…” and kick off your ritual with this, followed by your list of pride.
  3. Find a music that you love and associate with your ritual.
  4. Every morning, start your ritual with that music and declare, “I am…”

It’s your special moment to reconnect with yourself. A dose of self-care and self-love, so don’t skip it. Prove to yourself that you matter.

The Month of Love

Now, let’s talk about February, the month of love. But not your typical flowers-and-chocolates kind of love. I stumbled upon the Nordic way of celebrating love when I moved to Finland. Here, it’s all about Ystävänpäivä, the day of friendship. A sweet touch— it always involves a visit to the beloved sauna. Love, Nordic style.

Corsets as Vectors of Self-Love

Alright, let’s get personal. My self-love journey is still a work in progress, but one thing I’ve always shared is how corsets transform me, not just physically but mentally. There’s something magical about corsets—a unique twist only they can provide. Physically, they shape your curves in a harmonious way, but once that waist is cinched, you feel the support, both physical and mental. It helps you stand taller, straighter, injecting a healthy dose of confidence. This experience is transformative, and I’d throw the recommendation out there for anyone.

Elegance and Power: A Love Story in Designs

Finally, I would like to remind you that my designs are not just garments. They’re thought through the lens of elegance and power. Each stitch, each detail is a love story of its own. Because when you wear something crafted with love, it’s not just clothing; it’s an expression of your strength, your authenticity, and, most importantly, your self-love.

So here’s to February, the month of Love. But before you go showering others with affection, make sure to give yourself a hearty dose of love first. Remember, you’re worth it.

Until next time,

With all my love
