General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all orders placed through www.vanadiscouture.com (the “Site”), operated by Léa Salvan, trading as Vanadis Couture (“Vanadis Couture,” “the Seller”), registered office in Espoo, Finland, business ID 3443301-5. They apply to any individual or legal entity placing an order through the Site (“Customer,” “you”). These Terms are permanently accessible on the Site. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Products

Vanadis Couture offers three types of products:

• Made-to-order : constructed to your selected size, color, and trim from the Seller’s standard size chart. The Seller holds no stock; each piece is made specifically for you after your order is placed.
• Bespoke : fully custom pieces drafted from your individual measurements, not a standard size chart.
• Ready-to-wear : in-stock pieces available for immediate dispatch.

Made-to-order purchases are considered final once payment has been received in full and the Seller has confirmed your order by email.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the Site, or quoted individually for bespoke commissions, are in EUR and include material costs. Shipping is charged separately and calculated at checkout. Payment can be made by credit/debit card, PayPal, or Klarna/Stripe. The Seller reserves the right to update prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is the one confirmed at the time of purchase.

4. Production Time

All Vanadis Couture pieces are made in Finland, by hand, one at a time. Made-to-order pieces typically take 3–5 weeks to complete before dispatch; this timeframe may vary during periods of high demand. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact the Seller before purchasing, she will confirm whether this is possible and provide a timeframe in writing.

5. Sizing

Please check your measurements carefully against the Size Guide, included on each product page, before ordering. If your correct size does not appear on the standard chart, contact lea@vanadiscouture.com before placing your order. As made-to-order garments are produced to the sizing you select, please ensure accuracy: these items cannot be returned for sizing reasons once production has begun (see Section 7).

6. Shipping

Orders are shipped worldwide using Posti (Finland), a tracked and insured service. For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply on arrival; these are the Customer’s responsibility and are not included in the order price or eligible for refund. Packages returned to the Seller due to unpaid customs fees will require a new shipping fee to be resent.

7. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

• Bespoke garments, made to your individual measurements, cannot be returned or exchanged, except in the case of a manufacturing fault.
• Made-to-order garments cannot be returned or exchanged for reasons of size or preference, as each piece is produced to your specifications. Returns are accepted only if the item is faulty or differs from the options you selected at checkout.
• Ready-to-wear garments may be returned within 14 days of arrival, provided the item is unworn, in its original condition and packaging, and, where applicable, briefs have been tried on over your own underwear.

To initiate a return, contact lea@vanadiscouture.com before sending anything back. The Seller recommends using a tracked shipping service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches her. Items returned worn or damaged through customer negligence will be sent back and are not eligible for refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Please raise any complaint as soon as possible after receiving your order.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Seller’s Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is collected, stored, and protected.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Any dispute arising from an order shall first be addressed by contacting lea@vanadiscouture.com directly.
